Had the opportunity to shoot the lovely Devon on a local farm this past weekend. When a Texan reviewer saw the images he called it “Texas Glamour,” which I think is a fine way to describe the images!
The shoot was quite relaxing, as I was taking advantage of a friend of the model as a voice-activated light stand, and using mostly natural light due to the loss of a part at an earlier shoot; forced improvisation can be a good thing, right? It was nice not to have to worry about the settings and placement on each strobe, and instead to focus on proper placement of the reflectors and simple rim lights.
Devon was an easy model to work with, posed well, followed direction when given, but didn’t need it every second either.
